Established in 1969 by James Montgomery, Express Heating have grown into a business known for outstanding workmanship, with qualified and skilled engineers, while embracing a traditional, family approach. From those early beginnings and a team of just 8 engineers, we have continually developed and invested in traditional workmanship that is driven by modern technology and a skilled workforce of 30 engineers and office staff.
There is a great responsibility for health & safety in heating and gas, equally so, in ensuring the work carried out is fit for purpose and finished in a manner that ensures longevity. We carefully select our employees and engineers for their competencies in the industry and qualifications to perform the task required of them, however, our selection process also identifies those that will embrace the culture of Express Heating and go on to be empowered with knowledge that stands our business in the light that we wish to be under.

Our membership of BESA (British Engineering Service Association) is a valuable accreditation for Express Heating. BESA is the UK’s leading trade organisation for building engineering contractors. They represent the interests of firms within the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, control and management of engineering systems and services in buildings.
The BESA membership gives Express Heating valuable support services, training courses and advice that is strictly tailored to individual requirements. This ensures that the best practices of Express Heating are continually under review ensuring the best interests of our business, and the premium provision of services to our clients.
BESA continually establish technical standards and best practice guides of which Express Heating work in accordance with, while also safeguarding industry skills and spearheading mental health awareness and diversity within the industry.
